It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school through our website. St Joseph’s is a happy and successful school where children “Learn to love and love to learn”.

In our school, we have happy, hardworking children, dedicated staff and supportive parents and Governing Body. We have the highest aspirations for all our children and through our partnership with parents we aim for them all to become the best learners that they can be.

Through our website we aim to give you information and a flavour of school life in St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. We hope to give you an insight into our school; a glimpse of our values, our curriculum, our philosophy and our community. We hope that you will find this information a useful starting point.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a voluntary aided school in the Diocese of Southwark. It is in the trusteeship of the Diocese. The school is conducted by its Governing Body as part of the Catholic Church in accordance with its Trust Deed and Instrument of Government, and seeks at all times to be a witness to Jesus Christ. Anyone is welcome to apply for a place at St. Joseph’s, however, as a voluntary aided school with a religious character, the school exists primarily to serve the Catholic community and Catholic children always have priority of admission.
